„Artists at the table of the Aranybika hotel”- The history of Debrecen’s nationally, even internationally renowned hotel is swarming with enchanting literary and artistic memories: nationally acclaimed writers, poets, playwrights, painters and sculptors from Debrecen, as well as from Budapest have “taken a seat” in the history of the Aranybika.

The most frequent writer guest of the Aranybika hotel was Zsigmond Moricz. His, was a unique love story with Debrecen. Numerous literary works and masterpieces have been born at the marble table of the hotel café during 20th century.

The magnificent Glass Hall of the Grand Hotel Aranybika is the ideal venue for receptions, banquets and company events for up to 200 standing guests or 160 sitting guests. The á la carte restaurant, able to accommodate up to 60 people, welcomes its guests on the Havana terrace overlooking the beautiful Debrecen esplanade.
